The universities of Baden-Württemberg jointly operate a range of high-performance computing clusters with different capabilities and uses cases called bwHPC (https://www.bwhpc.de). The CAFE-BIO Doctoral Candidate will be part of the ITP4 institute, which has access to several of these clusters. Thomas Speck is director of the ITP4 which is situated within the building of the Max-Planck-Institute for Intelligent Systems close to the main campus of the University.
